ABOUT US The Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservationists (IASWC) was established in 1972 at Dehradun, as a non-profit making body to encourage natural resource management professionals to assemble on a platform that promotes scientific land use. The publication of the journal started in 1973 and the 35(1) issue has already been published in 2007. The IASWC has 1567 life members, nearly 100 Institutional members and 30 ordinary members. The IASWC, besides publishing the journal, also holds national and regional conferences. Since 2005 the IASWC has held a regional conference at Udhagamandalam for Southern India in 2005, for the Western region in Pune in 2006 and in 2007 it is holding the regional conference for Northern India in Chandigarh. The journal published by the IASWC is peer reviewed and is critically edited for its quality and contents. |
